For nearly a straight week, Smokey the bunny was hanging around our house. Literally. I'd find him either on the deck or in the dog run. One morning, maybe Thursday, I couldn't spot him. Today was day nine in a row of snow. Oy. This should be the last of it, at least for a few days, but having to deal with it is fatiguing. Only today did I do any shoveling; mostly I've just had to drive through it, but that's certainly not any fun. --Apparently we don't have a mourning dove baby yet. Dad did see the parents swap out yesterday afternoon, though. The fresh parent had some sort of gullet action going on, which was weird, but again, no baby. And I tried peeking as best I could. Saturdays seem to be the day of the week we're spending in the yard. At least, as far as I can remember, and really that only goes back to about Wednesday these days.
