Perhaps, somehow, Chicagoland has been hiding (in plain sight, I suppose), and that is why it took until January for winter to find us. I certainly wasn't seeking it out, and given our adventures on Christmas Eve, having 50s for the holiday was not so bad. January hadn't been all that bad until this week. It snowed on Tuesday, then again today.
