Last night while returning home from my walk, I heard a strange noise coming from the vicinity of a car parked on a driveway. What, is there a dog inside? We still have a fair amount of leftover ham in the house. I had some on Sunday and then a reprise on Monday for dinner, but otherwise I didn't have any; I was pretty inflamed earlier in the week and wasn't sure what caused it. Back on Mother's Day, I went out and took pictures of our two nests--the finch one built in our front porch light, and the mourning dove one built on top of the pergola. In recent weeks, we've gotten olfactory proof of stinky kitty's existence. This morning, I got a visual. With spring comes birds. I've already mentioned the ducks; they made an appearance today. What's funny is that dad put Rio on this morning, something colorful that he thought would be funny.
