After making a pact to always stay friends and intouch after high school, the pact is broken when they go down their own roads following their dreams. After years of not talking they all unknowingly meet back up, and realize the party life that went on in high school was nothing, and that the real party had just begun.

The school days slowly drug by, and by the time they knew it, they had only a week and a half of school left. Everybody had been busy trying to get as much money saved up as possible, for their trip to California. Between working and practicing her theater project, July didn’t have a lot of time to hang out with the boys, so they would hang out at her job until her manager would make them leave. She was a hostess at an upscale restaurant down town. All the girls would wear short bright color dresses and high heals with tons of make up, while July on the other hand wore black slacks, and a black button up shirt with black DC shoes. She saw the boys walking up from the street and smiled. She loved when they would come and see her. It made her feel special.
“Hey guys,” she smiled as they walked in.
“Hey babe,” Ville flashed his famous smile. They sat at the end of the vacant bar that was closest to the host stand.
“When do you get off?” Bam asked. Looking at her watch she answered,
“About 4 hours or so.” Bam nodded his head and began chewing on a straw he took from the stack of them on the bar.
“One more check and I should have enough money” she smiled at them who returned the smile.
“Good I cant wait” Ville smiled, then looked at Bam, “Have you even told Ape yet?”
“Nope” he laughed.
“Bam! Its only like two weeks away dude” July gushed.
“She’ll be fine” Bam told her.
“Yeah right,” Ville laughed, “It took me forever to convince my parents to let me.” Bam rolled his eyes and swatted his hand in the air,
“Oh it will be fine. What about you, do they know you’re going?” Bam asked July who laughed,
“What are they going to do tell me no?”
Bam shrugged his shoulders, “True”
The three sat joking around for a little bit before July’s manager walked up with an angry look on his face.
“What did I tell you about letting your friends come up here and talk to you while you are on the clock?” he pressed his hands into his hips.
“Its not like I’m not doing my job. Nobody as walked in here since them” July sighed. If he didn’t fire her, she was about ready to quit.
“I don’t care. We are about to be at rush hour and you need to do your job. When I get back they better not be here.” He told here then walked away. She cleared her throat and walked after him.
“Can I have my check before I forget?” she opened the door to his office. He sighed and dug through an envelope and handed her the check which was a lot more than she expected. She smiled and thanked him then shut the door behind her. Bam and Ville were standing up getting ready to go when July told them to stay just a few more minutes. More and more customers began pouring in, as July directed them to wait in the bar area. Once the restaurant was good and pact, and people began to complain about the wait, July grabbed her book bag, clocked out and left.
“You’re just going to leave” Ville asked chasing after her. She kept walking,
“Yup. Fuck that place” she laughed.
“How much was your check?” Bam asked catching up with them.
“Five hundred.” She answered as she took it out and examined it. “This should be good with what I have been saving. So who’s house is it going to be tonight? I have some candy.” She pulled out a bag of mushrooms.
“How bout yours? I don’t want to do that with Ape home” Bam said scratching the back of his head.
“Naw, Savannah is home. I don’t want to do that around her.”
“Well I guess that only leaves my place” Ville laughed. July took off her shoes that she had been wearing all day, and put them in her bag then jumped on Ville’s back so he could carry her. Once they arrived at Ville’s he brought her bag and the goodies up stairs while July and Anita sat in the kitchen and talked about everything that has been going on.
“You know, child, there’s something about you.” Anita said smiling. Lowering her brow in confusion, July smiled and asked,
“What do you mean”
“You’re special”
“Are you giving me a compliment?” July asked. Anita laughed and swatted the kitchen towel at her.
“Well I’m not insulting you” she laughed.
“Well how am I special?” July questioned. Anita studied her for a moment before answering.
“I just have a motherly feeling about you. You’re the one for my Ville”
July blushed and looked down,
“But I’m leav-” she was cut off.
“Oh I know, but there is such thing called fate, and I’m a strong believer in that. You just wait,” Anita smiled.
“I really care for Ville, but I think I’m too young to worry about who I’m going to end up with.” July spoke the truth, which made Anita admire and adore her even more.
“You have a very good head on your shoulders,” She spoke to July, who felt slightly guilty that she was about to go up stairs and gobble down some mushrooms. “You better get up stairs before he thinks you have ran away” Anita laughed. July jumped down off of the kitchen counter and gave her a hug before jogging upstairs. When she opened the door Bam and Ville were laying sprawled out on the bed looking at the ceiling.
“Bastards” she laughed, then walked to the radio.
“So D.J. what’s the music for tonight?” Bam asked looking up at her.
“Well tonight it’s shrooms, so…” she flipped through her CD case looking for a CD. “The Doors” she placed the CD in and turned up Riders on the Storm. She took the bag of half eaten mushrooms and ate the rest before climbing in the bed with the boys.
“I like colors” Bam said with a smile on his face.
“Yeah me too” Ville laughed.
“Fuckers started with out me” July piped in.
“I cant wait to go to Cali” Ville sighed and wrapped his arms around July.
“To all of the memories made and to be made.” Bam held up a shroom to make a “toast”
July and Ville laughed and held up one too.
“To the best years of our lives” Ville laughed then tapped them together before downing them.
California would definitely be a memory they will never forget.
Just a little filler chapter. Oh and to kinda give you an idea to what im picturing Ville looking like now is what he looked like during his Love Metal days... idk y but to me his Burried alive by love vid makes him look like hes 18 or 19 lol... thats just me... but yea...comment!! love yall!!
