Tonight:

• Pay outstanding parking tickets and excise tax
• Buy limes for key lime brains
• Bake cookies and apple cake for tomorrow's bake-off at work
• Make key lime brains with trowa_barton
• Finish straightening out the kitchen and living rooms (with the aid of jbsegal and 42itous)

This house needs an enema, especially if I'm going to host a party on Friday night.

Accomplished so far either today or a few days ago:

• Scrubbed toilets
• Wiped down bathroom sinks
• Scrubbed tubs and shower curtain liners
• Wiped down upstairs bathroom floor
• Scrubbed out kitchen sink and adjacent countertops

Yesterday I realized that the fridge seemed awfully warm, and hey, so did the freezer. In fact, things were starting to defrost and spoil. We tossed some stuff last night, but it was fairly clear that most of the stuff in our fridge was going to have to go.

Trowa has a theatre work day tomorrow afternoon/later today. Earlier I thought perhaps that would be a good time to go to the gym...until I remembered that it would be Easter Sunday. My "this place is disgusting" bit has flipped and I have been doing some de-filthifying. Two nights ago I wiped down the kitchen counters and stovetop. Today I have swept the kitchen and living room floors (OMG the cat hair and tracked-in sand), wiped down the bathroom sinks, and wiped down and scrubbed the toilets. Today Trowa and I helped JB gather together stuff for Baitcon and stage it in centralized locations. This includes some of the leftover wedding dinner supplies -- plastic plates, cups, and cutlery, plus hot cups and napkins. After much procrastination, I have made some headway in my room. Not as much as would be ideal, but I can see a much larger portion of my floor now than I have in the last n months. We got out of the house on Sunday. For all that it was motivated by needing to visit the Mt.
