Read this. If anyone lives in the area where this user lives (Idaho, United States) or knows anyone who does, or has any idea what kind of services this person can access, can you help her? I'm really concerned but I have no idea what services exist in this person's community.

Recent conversation on this comm has got me thinking about how many people see a wheelchair as the total of disability instead of it being a helpful thing. And how many people are so keen to show that they don't 'have a problem with disability' that they overcompensate, even sometimes creating problems that weren't there before ( Read more... )

This is in the news. Given what's happening to disability benefits now, and the way disabled people are getting talked about (scroungers, fakers etc) it strikes me that this murder is being reported as though every right-thinking person would be horrified by what these lowlifes did.
