The UK soap opera I watch, Emmerdale, has a storyline about old age and money trouble. In last night's episode we saw Edna reach crisis point, hungry and cold, ending up unconscious on her floor. I'm finding this story quite disturbing to watch.

Those who watch NCIS may be at different stages in the story, so this is definitely a time to cut for spoilers. Something I liked was ( an episode called 'Recruited' in Season 8 )

Channel 4 is currently screening a reality show called Love Thy Neighbour, based in a village not far from where I live. It's a competition in which families compete to persuade the locals to let them move into a beautiful cottage.
