Two Months Later
“What about that freaky sleepy thing? Does he still do that?” Ryan asked and took a bite of his sandwich.
“You mean that humming thing? Oh yeah….“ Greg giggled. “Then he tries to pull me closer, and if he doesn’t find me he’ll start cuddling himself. It’s bit like watching a dog licking himself.”
“I know.” Ryan chuckled. “Have you met his sisters yet?”
“Yeah, but meeting his mom was real thrill. You know how farsighted she is?”
“Yeah.”
“When we came to their house she didn’t have her glasses on. Eric introduced me and she accused him of trying to fool his old mother.”
“What do you mean fool her?”
“She kept insisting I was you and didn’t give up until Eric found her glasses. You think we look alike?”
Ryan looked at Greg carefully and Greg looked at Ryan. Both men started laughing.
“I don’t see it.”
“Me neither.” Greg agreed.
“What’s going on here?” Eric asked as he walked into the café.
“Nothing…..” Greg and Ryan said simultaneously.
“Okay.” Eric looked at them suspiciously. “Ready to go?”
“Yep.” Greg gathered his things and got up. “Tell Ade I said Hey.”
“Okay.”
Greg followed Eric out side and into his car. Eric pulled his seatbelt over his chest and drove out of the parking lot.
“We’re alone, what were you talking about?”
“That’s confidential.” Greg grinned.
“You were talking about me, weren’t you?”
“Hey, it was you who wanted me to try bonding with him.”
“I didn’t mean you two have to be the best of buddies, it’s too creepy.”
“Aren’t you happy we’re getting along?”
“Yeah, but…. Well…. This is definitely an improvement. Remember how you described Ryan before you knew it was my old Ryan?”
“You mean…?”
“Let’s see if I still remember this…. Two-faced, cheap, mattress-tied-to-the-headboard, legs-spears-twenty-four-seven Miami Man-Whore.”
“What can I say…. I have a way with words. And speaking of ex`s, I talked to Warrick yesterday.”
“I thought he was just a co-worker.”
“He was, but we talked about my ex.”
“And?"
“And he’s pretty much the same. So deep in the closet he keeps banging his head on the hangers. He has this on-again off-again things with some Airline Stuart. Basically they are on when he the guy spends few days in Vegas between flights, and when he’s gone they are off.”
“Very practical.”
“I guess. Anyway, where are we going?”
“Guido’s. I want to continue our salsa lessons.”
“Yeah, right….” Greg giggled. “I remember what your salsa lessons are like. You keep rubbing against me and I can’t do anything about it when we’re in the middle of the dance floor.”
“I made it up to you later, didn’t I?”
“True. But can we eat first?”
“It’s not healthy to dance with a full stomach. It’s like swimming.”
“Last time we went dancing before dinner and left right after dancing so that you could make it up to me. I didn’t get any food at all!”
“Maybe I planned it that way.” Eric smirked. “I got you to put out and I didn’t even need to buy you a dinner.”
“Have I ever turned you down?”
“No.”
“Do you want to keep it that way?”
“Yeah.”
“Then feed me.”

“How was your one-on-one with Greg?” Ade asked and pulled a pan of steaming lasagne out of the oven.
“Interesting. You have to admit, the whole setting is pretty weird. He broke up with his ex because the guy cheated on him with me, and he ended up picking up my ex. And to top it all, I’m dating his old college buddy. That sounds pretty messy.”
“So? Messy is good.”
“Sometimes.” Ryan agreed.
“Food now or food afterwards?”
“Don’t you ever get enough?”
“Of food? No, it’s a real addiction.”
“I meant sex.”
“Are you complaining?”
“No! Sore and exhausted, but definitely not complaining.” Ryan smirked and pulled Ade closer.
“That’s my boy.”
