This has been a fun Week. My sister and her husband have been visiting since Tuesday. They've been defrosting from the Wisconsin winter. I took wed & thurs off so we could hang out, they had a gift card to the omaha steak co. so we drove up there and got a crapload of meat to grill. wow, I just spent a good hour reading through old lj entries. I wrote some FUNNY ass posts back in 2005, a lot of them I'm like, how the hell did I come up with that?? now i'm just a lot crankier. Soooo freakin busy lately. Been fixing a car almost every single day. An extra $50 - $100 a day has been pretty damn nice. but exhausting. It kinda amazes me how little people know about cars, cause where i grew up, if you were a male who didn't know at least the basics of car repair, you got made fun of. Hey look at that, LJ has a moble app. That makes things a little easier. Let's see what's new in my life? Not a whole hell of a lot. Finished up my tool trailer so I have all my tools and my air compressor again, which I really missed. So now I can make a little side money fixing cars again. Getting used to having a smartphone, although I miss how nice and small my old one was, if I'm wearing tight pants i can't even fit this thing in my pocket. But then i can do cool shit like set up this makeshift docking station for it and type out LJ entries at work using a full size keyboard and mouse :D the touchscreen is fine for short texts,but ( Read more... ) -

I got a smartphone! It was free. I fuckin hate it. Still using the indestrucible nokia. But I can use this one for fuckin around online at work so here ya go. Plus it's pretty cool that you can plug a full size keyboard into this thing, like I'm doing now, cause touchscreens drive me fucking crazy. Spent WAY too much money this week getting the Command Center and the Brat up and running. But it's gotta be done otherwise I'll never get moved out of the house. Got the brat started up last night, but still have to hook up the water pump, let it warm up and adjust the timing, so still too soon to tell if it's running correctly.
