Getting used to having a smartphone, although I miss how nice and small my old one was, if I'm wearing tight pants i can't even fit this thing in my pocket. But then i can do cool shit like set up this makeshift docking station for it and type out LJ entries at work using a full size keyboard and mouse :D the touchscreen is fine for short texts, but now about to attempt to touch out a fucking lj entry. Anyway, new phone, who cares.
Gonna go check out a trailer park this week and possibly move the RV over there within the next couple weeks. Been parked at my friends place for almost a year, and while they say I can stay as long as I want, I'm sure they would like to have their backyard back. I've been giving them money for utilities, and a little extra, and helping out with outdoor projects on the house in exchange for parking there. Mainly because the RV needed quite a bit of work and I needed to be able to store a bunch of stuff there. But I got a trailer for my tools that's pretty much ready to roll, and the Rv is done as well, except for all the cosmetic stuff and armor i want to add, but I can do that whenever. I really want to start saving up for property and get the fuck away from people. I'm just more and more antisocial lately, I never even go out anymore, I just don't want do. I don't want to deal with hangovers, I don't want to deal with most of the people I know, and after dealing with screaming laughing children at work I just want solitude at the end of the day. If I could get a job at an isolated outpost in the middle of nowhere, I would take it in a heartbeat. At least while it's busy here on the weekends, my annoying pig of a coworker who i share an office with isn't here, so i can kinda hang out in here all day. So yes, another step closer to getting off grid. Last thing I have to do is build some kind of metal cage around the bottom of my RV and then a doggie door that lets the dogs go outside and hang out under the RV so they can still go outside but not run off. Right now I have a pet door on the side door so they can go out in the yard, but all they do is hang out under the RV anyway, cause it's nice and cool under there.
