It's been one year since I bought my new laptop (where does the time go?!) and it's been great for the first year. A couple of scratches on the front cover, a roommate got a little make-up smeared on the front cover at a con (I forgot who and which con), but everything else is running smoothly and I still love how last year this was the first ( Read more... )

I used the voucher that I received for being delayed going to Anime USA for a one-way ticket to OhayoCon next month, and so I will be returning to the con for my 10th year in-a-row!! ^o^

I'll be there Thursday night til Sunday afternoon.  Hopefully the weather will be nice this time and not TOO cold. haha

Next year, Max 2, an event that started this year during AX across the street at the Nokia Live center, is taking place at the Anaheim Convention Center.  Yes, THE ACC where AX used to be from 2006 and before.  As a way of either being an alternative to AX, or an anti-AX event depending on how you look at it, Max is offering FREE admission to the ( Read more... )

Looking ahead to the beginning of 2011, Katsucon was convention I am definitely planning on attending, and since I had miles on my airline account, I looked up the dates for Katsu and saw that I could get a round-trip ticket within my miles limit.  So I booked a flight, and now I'm set for going to Katsucon!!
