Funding to buy the shop in town has been approved!!!  There are just a couple of other documents to go over, and then I can purchase the building!  I should be able to move in by the 14th, if not sooner!  :)

     I understand that half of the USA, and Eastern Canada are getting hit with a massive blizzard.  I've seen the news footage from some parts of Canada, and they barely got anything (like 10cm worth) while other areas truly did get blasted.  Part of me feels some sympathy for these folks, and other parts of me look at the 4' or more of snow in my ( Read more... )

     I got a phone call from the bank today in regards to my loan application for the new building in town.  Everything is looking good, and they want to proceed with the application.  This means they have more questions and requirements.  They want me to fill out an "Environmental Questionaire" which basically means they want to be sure the place ( Read more... )

We found out why the dog has been barfing lately...

This morning, trixstir  caught him red-pawed in the back of the truck, ripping apart the garbage bags and eating the trash!  Darn dog has been climbing up on the big snowbank next to the truck, and jumping in the back to raid the trash!  He knew immediately that he'd been caught doing something ( Read more... )
