I was just skimming the friendslist and I realized I do miss LJ and reading about other people's lives (uh, I didn't mean for that last part to sound creepy).  I think I will stick around after all and try to write more often. Hugs for everyone.

Wow, it's Wednesday night and I actually got home before 7! Work at my current job continues to grate on my nerves...like I've said several times this past week, I am clearly burnt out.

Today Youngest Sib and I went to a local Chinese buffet to stuff our faces in honor of our Grandmother's birthday.  (It's a Chinese thing to eat a lot to celebrate family events, even better if there's lots of seafood available.)

To work tomorrow, I mean.  The past 2 weeks at work have been awful.  I'm frustrated, embarrassed, and angry and maybe even scared all at the same time.  Today was a back-and-forth between vomiting or crying. I'm not sure which ranks higher on the indignity scale. Crying won out. At least I managed to not do either until I got to my car.

Woohoo? The world economy is still going crazy and I spent New Year's Eve being awkward and taking 3 Jello shots at a party crammed into someone's tiny apartment, but this year seems to have started with an almost positve attitude for me. Or maybe it's the mood swings. :-P ( Read more... )
