I don't usually get that excited about winter solstice. Yes, it is the day when we start to get more light each day but it is also when the coldest weather starts. Yay for the sun returning. Candy and I had a super good walk in the woods yesterday to the Kennerdell Overlook and then down to Dennison Run. We've walked that route before but always in the other direction so it was neat this time to see things from a different angle. Many pictures: ( HERE... )
