Yesterday Candy I hiked the 3.6 mile loop to the Kennerdell Overlook. I think that was pretty darn good for her since she only had the hip replacement done in February. Some pictures taken with the full spectrum camera, IR Chrome filter:
Flowers in front of Candy's house. Can't remember the exact name of them right now...
We stopped for a rest and sat on a log after the first mile.
Sunny day.
Arrival at the overlook.
Kennerdell and the Allegheny River below.
View from sitting on the bench.
This morning. Rainy on my bed. Looks like that type of yarn really reflects a lot of infrared so that it overpowers most all of the other colors.

New project - weaving 2" squares with the pin loom and Roll With it Mélange yarn. I'm not finished yet with the crocheted lap robe that I'm making for Jan with the Join As You Go granny design but I wanted to take a little break for my hand. Crocheting makes my hand go numb very quickly and I have to keep stopping to shake it out but if I do weaving with the pin loom I don't have that problem for some reason. So I'm going to do a little of this and a little of that for a while. I love how one ball of yarn can give so many different colors of squares. It'll make a nice patchwork effect I think.
A cloudy day today and only about 50F all day. That actually wouldn't be that bad for hiking but I don't feel like it much. I'm missing the beautiful sun of yesterday.
