Today is the third anniversary of my mother’s death. In some ways it seems longer ago than that and in other ways the memories are still very fresh in my mind. My wonderful girls, Laurie, Tracy and Maria took me to breakfast this morning. After we ate, we took our picture together. The girls got some with their phones, then I pulled out “little red” and we asked the next person who walked by to take our picture with my camera. (I just can’t get used to taking pictures with a phone.)

This is an original plaster cast of my mom’s face when she was in her 20s. My sister now has it on her studio wall. On one of my visits there several years ago I took these pictures in the house they are moving back into.

Today is the six year anniversary of Dad’s passing.
I have a comforting picture in my mind of Dad and Mom together.

Everything ends up in the spare bedroom it seems, at least until I have time to find a place for it. When I returned from PA after my mom passed away, I brought back lots of my parent’s things.
