There is a small stream that flows between the ponds down at the botanical park. There’s some little summer flowers that are in bloom now in among the rocks that line the bank. Here’s is my digital painting of that scene from a picture I took this morning.

Drove east this morning looking for . . . I don't know what, birds I guess or whatever I could find in the early morning light. I spotted this pond on Pope Road and pulled over. Two red bellied woodies in a kapok tree . . . Here's the end result of a photo I took today that I thought had good bones and might be worth saving.
