I just took pictures of the full moon in my back yard through an opening in some trees . . .
(I took these with a flash so I could get some of the leaves of the tree in the picture and that gave me some interesting colors in the clouds. Then a pixlr-o-matic treatment to enhance and spice it up a little bit.)
I went to a dinner tonight in honor of our friend Eileen, a 15 year breast cancer survivor. Every year she treats us five friends to dinner and gifts. I hadn't even meant her yet when she was going through the diagnosis and chemo, but a few years after I did meet and get to know her, she invited me to be a part of her celebration each year.
I knew there was a full moon tonight, but I hadn't been outside to see it yet. On the way driving home there it was right in front of me, so as soon as I got in the door, I grabbed my camera and headed out back.
