I decided to take advantage of wonderful weather yesterday--bright blue skies and temperatures in the mid-70's--and weed all the gardens around the house. I started in the shade garden in the front of the house. This was the easiest garden to weed as I removed all the ivy from it last summer. It's a pretty peaceful garden.
There was a snow, and then ice storm here that lasted a day and a half. I stayed home yesterday and today because of the weather, as well as still being sick (but that's another entry).
Today I've been playing chick rock and painting in the kitchen. I'm doing the third wall (opposite the cabinets). Primer and first coat done. It's a lovely orange terra cotta. Second coat goes on later this evening
