Snow and ice on the ground this morning; I very nearly fell before I realized how icy it actually was. How quickly we forget. The poor cats did NOT want to be left outside this morning. I had a lovely time at OSU's Ren Faire Saturday. The weather, which was forecast to be rainy and overcast, actually cooperated with cloudless skies. I got to see performances of English Country Dancing and Morris Dancing. I have a fondness for morris dance, with its bright colored costumes, jingling bells and clacking sticks. High temperatures are predicted to be in the low 60's today. It was 55 deg F when I left for work. I was very confused about how to dress.

Daylight Savings Time begins this weekend.

rfunk made an offhand comment yesterday about there possibly being some freakish late April snowstorm. And sure enough, this morning the hills behind our house were frosted with white, and my car was covered with about a quarter inch of heavy, wet snow.
