Yes, here are some of the photos that I promised you. Brenda and I picked up Christine on the way and we went to Cotehele, which is just over the Cornish border. I have just posted I went to Dartmouth last Friday.  It's a real town of history ... some amazing scenery, and a castle, or two.

I have just had a lovely 5 mile walk with Christine - again around the Newton Abbot area.  Amazing how much colder it was today than, Friday.  We even had a few spots of rain while we sat and ate our pasties.  Again. lovely areas to walk, and we saw Puritan's Pit, which was founded at the restoration of King Charles II in a collapsed limestone ( Read more... )

Yesterday was a really nice day.

it started with a Church Service for half an hour - a lovely time of contemplation on the suffering of Jesus on the cross.  We actually finished with one of my favourite hymns ... even if it was the "other" tune than my favourite!  So will sing along as I type up this scribble!
