Today would have been Elvis Presley's 90th birthday, and the radio is playing a lot of his music today. I am happy as I am actually a great fan of his music. When I was younger he was one of the "stars" whose poster I had on my wall. Well I was out on Friday with Christine.  We went to a National Trust property that was built in the 20's and was meant to be celebrating a 20's Christmas ... I have to say though, that I have decorations on my tree from the 1920's ... but never spotted anything that old on display!  Still it was a good day out - will probably post some photos ( Read more... )

The blood tests my doctor ordered came back as positive for infection. So I was given some different antibiotics, which luckily I wasn't allergic to! However 5 days one and my symptoms stay the same. So, once I have finished the course it looks as if I shall be back to the doctors ( Read more... )

I heard this morning that Queen Camilla is unable to attend an official function ... as she was in November.  Both of which were due to an ongoing chest infection ... I know exactly what she feels like!  I feel the bugs are chasing me round in circles ... I am going to try one more day of the cold/flu remedy and then if needed, will go back on the ( Read more... )
