Saturday morning we checked out of our crappy hotel in favor of another one. We didn't actually get around to getting a hotel until after we checked out of the first one, but it worked out well. The funeral home was a basic funeral home. The room looked like every showing room in every funeral home I have ever been in. There were pictures all over the place. I came down here when I found out there was a death in the family. Well, I should clarify. Not my real family (IE: by blood), but My real family. I openly admit I am not related to anybody in the extension of my family in VA. However, I am closer to those in Va then I am to some of my relatives back at home. This weekend I earned some "good" points which is good because I tend to get "aw-shit" point with regularity. Earlier this year the oven on the stove in the kitchen quit working.
