I have been at work for 4.5 hours now and no one has noticed I am wearing my slippers. :)

Well, vacation is over. I have to return to work today. :(

Beth just sprayed some of that Axe shit in the office. She was just trying to let Tre smell it, but the problem is None of the Axe shit settles well with me...

Earlier I was up on the 2G unit with Idalee (Second Floor in the G wing). We had just taken a pt. back to their room (2 transporters to move a pt. in their bed). A code blue is called overhead. One again there is an open position in the transportation department here at St. Joes.
The position is for part time. The FTE is 0.5 (5 days every 2 weeks). This position is eligible for benefits.

I went in to get a patient for a test. While I was in there the RN and I went to stand this guy up so we could help him take the 2 steps to the wheelchair and sit down. So I come out of the CDU unit here at work and as I walk down the hallway I am talking with a security guard. Nothing special about the conversation, just small talk that most people get stuck in even if they try and avoid it.

Since I got to work I have swung by my mom's office twice. She wasn't there either time. I had a question to ask her so I was looking for her. Then a few minutes ago it clicked that I dropped her off at the airport yesterday to go down to DC for a few days...

They were supposed to have the waffle bar set up at work this morning. I skipped breakfast because I wanted a nice hot, fresh waffle...

They didn't set up the waffle bar this morning. I am now hungry. I might eat my lunch a little sooner then noon.
