Last night was the final part of the last ordeal with the finals of my EMT-B class. I had already completed the written finals, and now I have completed the 2'nd day of the practical finals. All the hands on stuff ( Read more... )

Got home a little while ago from school. Tonight was the written final. I had to have a bare minimum of 80% to pass. My final grade was 84.7%

I passed the second part. Now all I have to do is get past the hands on finals on Thursday and next Monday.

My fifth clinical was no different then my 3'rd clinical.

I just got home from my 4'th day of clinicals. As I mentioned last night I was working on Rescue 2. Other then going to get groceries we didn't leave the station all day. Not a single medical run for us.

Tomorrow I have my 4'th clinical. I will be in Waterford at Fire Station Number 1, working on Rescue 2. If no one else is on shift as a student I may jump back and forth from Rescue 2 & Rescue 1 like I did last time. We will find out tomorrow.

Today I did my third day of clinicals. I had a shift from 8am-4pm working the ER at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital (POH). I've said it before and I will say it again...I hate the ER. I am not a fan of working the ER, I try hard to avoid it at work. However, I must admit that the ER at POH was a lot nicer to be around then the ER at St. Joes. ( Read more... )

Tomorrow is my 2'nd clinical with Waterford Fire Department. This time I will be riding with Rescue 1. I will be on shift from 4pm until Midnight. I won't be alone this time either. My partner from class will be at the same station riding with Rescue 2 during the same shift.
