For some reason or another I have started to get soft again. I guess I am relaxing a bit more now that I am finally moving in a positive direction with my life. Things are less hectic...not really, but they are not as bad as they were. I put myself on the scale today for the first time in a couple weeks. I am back at 200 pounds. In the last 3 days or so I have been home little more then a half-hour. In the course of that half-hour this morning I managed to lose the keys to my trucks. I really hate it when I do something stupid like that. Good thing the bike key is separate from the truck keys, otherwise I would have either missed work or been late to it.

After work today I decided that I would use the nice afternoon to work on the Geo. It has been giving me unexplained electrical troubles since winter first set in. As I was working with it Billy came over to BS and chit chat for a bit. Every now and then he comes over to talk with Dad or I just to be around guys. Poor fella is the only guy ( Read more... )

After almost 10 years of faithful service, 2 owners, and I think 4 different vehicles I am afraid to say that my Panasonic AM/FM/CD car stereo died today on the drive to work. I think I know what I am going to use my $25 gift card at Circuit city towards.

I am finally done...with what I have to do with the trucks anyway. The starter, front brakes, and 2 new tires were done on the Geo. 4 new tires and new brakes (front & rear) on the truck. Now I just have to take the truck for an alignment (however, I can still say I am done because someone else will be doing the alignment). My plans for the ( Read more... )

I would say it has been a productive day. I went to get an eye exam, went to work with Dad, Fixed the front brakes on the Geo, Replaced the two old tires on the Geo, did some laundry, and ripped apart the rear Brakes on the pickup...then it got dark so my truck is still ripped apart in the yard. Got the Starter on the Geo done. Well, I should be honest. I didn't do it. I went to do it yesterday, but I had trouble getting under the Tracker, then I burned my hand on the side of the engine (it was running 10 minutes prior to my trying to take it apart), and as a result of burning my hand I tried to sit up and cracked my head on the frame ( Read more... )

Back from another weekend up north. This one seemed a little longer then last weekend and I was up there for a day less time. The roofing job is finally finished.
