POTRIPPER seems to be able to see everyone's hole cards.

one: today in a tournament at mark and ken's place, i was able to check in the big blind with 2/6, and the board came out with 222. Later that same night in a cash game in which the antes were checked around, i had 4/5 and the flop came out 555. two flopped quads in one night. Pretty fantastic.

so i had enough full tilt points to cash in for a set of poker chips, and since they were free and i don't really have a good set of my own, exactly, i decided to get 'em. i think the cost was 12,500 FTP.

9th out of a remaining 48 in a tourney where top 18 is being paid. the table i'm on is kind of the "leaderboard" table, lots of chips, lots of opportunity.

AA on the button, chip leader two before me opens with a raise to 200 (blinds are 60/120). I raise to 600, he pushes, i call. he has JJ and hits his set on the flop.

bad night for cards.

won about $150 last week, losing it tonight.

there's a guy on my table who keeps losing money because he's a horrible horrible player. not just call-chases, but calls with mid pair with a weak kicker. he also likes to bet $1 all the time regardless of whether he has a monster hand or if he's just holding two cards below ( Read more... )

last night i was playing on a .50/1 NL table, having come to the table with $65, my typical buy in for a $100 max buyin.

My fourth hand in, i got JJ on the button. One person before me who had $250ish on the table limped in for a $1, so the pot was $2.50. I raised to $4.

small blind and big blind fold. Limper then raises all-in.
