Honestly, I would have just called pre-flop since someone had already raised. Since a raise had already happened, I would assume that if I raised again, they'd push me all in. A/Q in a setting with more than 2 players is not something I'd like to go all-in with without seeing the flop. So personally, I would not have pushed any more in your position. And I'd have also lost all of my money I brought to that table, as well.

I disagree. Seeing the flop here isn't that great because you only really make money if you hit your A or Q and someone else has a dominated hand, which really isn't that often. One of the reasons it isn't great is because if someone wants to call you preflop with 66 or AJ, they are going to fold after the flop and you aren't making money. You definitely don't fear a coinflip here either since there is a ton of dead money in the pot. You also probably don't hit your hand often enough to just call off 25% of your stack preflop. Since you are so short, this is an easy push to isolate.

As an addition to this, if the guy raising and the guy calling are both tight and reasonably good, and especially if the guy limping UTG almost never limps in early position, you could probably even just fold. Calling in that situation is bad, and pushing is slightly better since there is dead money in the pot.

the guy raising wasn't that good. i didn't know too much about the guy who cold called after. the guy utg was a decent player, but liked to mix his play by sometimes limping and calling raises with weaker hands pf and then playing more TA post flop ( ... )
