Well I'm excited about moving into a new home for sure, esp. since where were at is so small. The new house is like 3X the size!! I was able to pick up a few things off my buddy T_dawg who happens to be moving too and move some things in ( Read more... )

at the poker club tonight i played in the 1-1 PL omaha game with some pretty saavy players. I brought my $200 buy in up to $450ish or so and there were two big hands (and one smaller hand) where in the first one my opponent dodged like 20 outs for a chop or a loss and another hand where someone hit the one card in the deck that made their hand ( Read more... )

lost $600 on a hand where my lower full house got not *beaten* by a higher full house, but got *sucked out* by a higher full house.

dumb thing is that the $600 i had was putting me back to even from some rough beats in the prior few hours, so i almost left the table, but there was a loose cannon on the table that i wanted to take advantage of to ( Read more... )

live game has really helped my deeper level thinking play.

after moving up and down on the 5-10 limit mixed game that broke up, i moved to the 1/3 NLHE table with about my entire buy in back, roughly $400. Most of the night saw no movement from me in terms of money. Down $50 here, Up $50 here, etc.

last night i took 4th place in a $30 buy in tourney at the poker club. The hand that took me out was definitely a TV hand.
