in this tournament that i am now on the final table on, i got dealt KK three times in a row and won the pot all three times. (i think twice before showdown, once after.)

in the same tournament about a half hour later, i got dealt AA three times in a row. I lost the first one, then doubled up the second, then tripled up on the third one.

 I'm at the trop in AC, sitting on a 1-2 table with 600 in front of me.  I've caught some great cards tonight. played in a late night $10 hold em tournament on cake poker. 27 entrants, top 4 paid. Almost went out a couple of times on the bubble - when it was 5 people left, everyone was playing really well all the way to the end. i was one of the short chip stacks fighting to survive at first.

I got AA twice within three hands and it won me $110. Almost won me more against the guy with KK, but an A came on the river so he just called my river bet instead of reraising me all-in.

still, no complaints. :)

earlier this year i donated/paid dues to be a poker player alliance member. very recently there was a huge rally to washington d.c. by the PPA to talk with the congressional office.

cardplayer has an excellent article about it, and is generally a great source of news for everything going on with UIGEA if you're interested.

wizards of odds updated his article about POTRIPPER. I also read the article he linked to at the bottom from MSNBC and was a little annoyed at their tone, but oh well. The bottom line is, an employee of absolute did it by hacking into their system.
