I filed for unemployment today, as I have been pounding the good earth trying to find a job and been entirely unsuccessful. Life without a source of income is weird. I don't like it. Something must be done, and until that something is me getting a bloody job, unemployment benefits don't sound too bad to me.

I spent my first day out of the watchful family eye today. Jamie and I had our anticipated Chicago/Phoebe Day, which went wonderfully. I went back to St. Louis with my mom and grandmother on Thursday to move out of the apartment. Lots of emotion, both good and bad, and I'm really proud of myself for getting through it. 1. I weigh 158 lbs. WHAT?! How is this possible? I haven't weighed under 160 since I was 14. And I lost those 16 lbs. in a totally healthy way. SO PROUD.

2. We may have found a free performance space. More to come on this tomorrow, but I'm hopeful. Being freakishly on top of things might actually have paid off.
