Spent the last two weeks of May and the first two weeks of June doing a combination of long distance and in person training, and I'm officially ready to start teaching on Saturday. Had an interview yesterday to become an independent contractor for an at home tutoring company, and I got the job! The lady thought I was wonderful and the interview lasted half the time she says it normally does. So, got my official rejection email from the UK agent today. Disappointed though not really surprised. Who gets an agent on their first try? I'm sure someone has, but it's not the norm. Thanks to lozenger8, I now have an Ao3 account! Haven't posted anything over there yet, but I'll be slowly adding my fics there as a back-up archive. Just the thought of uploading all 86 parts of SASG makes me want to bang my head on the desk. I'll be so tempted to re-edit everything but that would take about a lifetime so must not do.
