Thanks! I had to come up with a new writing schedule recently because I found myself procrastinating on multiple projects. It's been in place for about two weeks now and it's worked so far. What I really need to do is get a synopsis and some query letters in order for the first novel so I can start heavily submitting to places on my own. That's what I've really been putting off.
Thank you! All the work I'm doing is to try and get me back to London. :) As soon as I get enough experience, I'll be applying for as many UK university jobs as possible.
Congratulations, on both working and publishing!! FWIW, I know a couple of people who've made decent money ghostwriting. There's nothing wrong with that, and it hones your craft.
Thanks, Pen! I'm really enjoying the ghostwriting so far. It's actually been really freeing getting to write in someone else's voice and the stories I'm hearing are fascinating. We had some ghostwriters come speak to us when I was at university and I really like the idea. I'm happy to be working with a company now, so the pressure isn't on me to get clients or do the actual interviews, but in future I might branch out and try to do some on my own.
