Steve Gerber passed away yesterday, according to Mark Evanier's post on his blog after a long fight with pulmonary fibrosis. He was probably best known for his creation of Howard the Duck (and less so for Omega the Unknown) and runs on numerous Marvel books of the 1970s, such as The Defenders and Man-Thing, but I hadn't realized that he had also ( Read more... )
