Roy Scheider passed away Sunday afternoon.
Scheider was one of those actors that appeared in a lot of great films and shows, but for me he will always be the luckless sheriff of Amity in one of my favorite movies. He leaves behind family, friends and a lot of great roles and fans.
Rest in peace Roy Scheider. The guy upstairs is going to need a bigger boat.
