My dvd player is broken. ;_____; HOW WILL I LIIIIIIIIIVE. How could you possibly have broken, sweet dvd/tv combination?? It's not like I've used you every single day since I bought you like 8 years ago! :'( At least the tv still works fine, but the motor that opens the drawer stopped working. SIGH.

Started a new semester today, and it seems pretty promising. Better than I had expected, at least. Buddy does not understand bedtime. Yes, you silly, enormous puppy, Mike and I are still awake, but mom is trying to sleep. You should sleep too, or at least hang out quietly with me or Mike. He is now chewing on his bone in the dark in the living room. Oh silly thing....

We finally have a new dog! My parents got him on Saturday at the same rescue we got Max from, and my mom brought him home today. His name, so far, is Buddy, because that's the one he came with.

He is adorable and large (he's taller than Max was, but not as heavily muscled), and is about 8 or 9 months old.

This last paper was the devil. And it's probably terrible. But I don't care, it's over.

I need to figure out a way to get through the end of the semester without causing myself mental and emotional harm, because so far, I haven't managed it. Oh well. One year down. Who the hell knows how much longer left to go.
