My dvd player is broken. ;_____; HOW WILL I LIIIIIIIIIVE. How could you possibly have broken, sweet dvd/tv combination?? It's not like I've used you every single day since I bought you like 8 years ago! :'( At least the tv still works fine, but the motor that opens the drawer stopped working. SIGH.

That is how you should look at it: an opportunity to upgrade to a better player!

Yep! I decided to go against getting a blu-ray, since I have a small tv and that wouldn't really show much difference, and it wouldn't be worth it to have to spend more money on blu-rays, etc. So I got a new dvd player at Costco for just $40, and decided to spend the rest of my budget on a new tv. So all in all, I am very fancy now. :P
