Okay I had a slow morning. I went back to bed after M left for work because I was so exhausted from yesterday and don't have class until 1 o'clock. Bad Jess, I know (I thought of you, Joely, and how you made it out of bed every day at 430. I nearly stayed up, but the bed was so darn warm.)

I'm dissatisfied because I'm behind. I only got 8 pages on day one, and I need eleven each day; I've been doing ten. So tomorrow I plan to make them up. Why not today? Because this is my schedule:

Challenge: Day 2
Okay, homework kicked my butt last night. My review essay wiped the floor with me, but it's done until Thursday when I polish it. I've decided I need to make a to-do list so I can see what I need to do and how much.

Some crunch and kicking myself
So I'm at my in-laws all day and I forgot my story notes; the ones with my scene lists and stuff. I haven't done a thing today on the story; I feel so unproductive. (Still not feeling great health-wise though). I'm kicking myself ( Read more... ) -

I think I'm getting the flu?
I generally catch a cold around November and stay sick until April but with the mild winter we had, that didn't happen. It's been so long since I've had real flu I can't remember what it's like ( Read more... ) -
Nailing the Hero
Noel is finally real to me. (Hi, Noel.) I had his fear/motivation wrong. It's not the same as the antagonist. The heroine's is more closely related to the antagonist's than the hero's. I finally nailed it when I thought, "Well, okay, he's a ghost. What was he like in life?" And I'd already known some things but I hit upon how he *died* and went, ( Read more... ) -
