Okay I'm resigning from the second week of the challenge. Too much going on between job hunting, current jobs, schoolwork, my mother and uncle BOTH had surgery yesterday and people somehow didn't call me that my mother's was delayed so I was biting my nails for nine hours till she was done and they told me. I got to the middle of page 71 yesterday. This morning I got to the bottom of page 74. I had a lot to do, meetings and stuff. I'm running a panel at a conference this weekend so we're finalizing that stuff; I've got the history paper going, last week's review essay to rewrite, and the senior project. Today is the halfway point! Yay!

I wrote 7 pages this morning; I'm at 70. I need five more today to be on target and I think I can do it. :) Act II is going to be fun. I had some great ideas while reviewing my verbal collage. I didn't update last night; I didn't make ten pages. I got to page 63 and wrote the turning point for Lucy and Noel's relationship and the turning point for Laila's story and the external goal (same scene.) Interestingly, that scene was from Laila's perspective. She was in the best position for it, so I figured why not?

Today is The Day of the Living History Paper. Snazzy, no? Yes, the challenge is finally being purposely shunted in favor of my GPA. Okay, homework kicked my butt last night. My review essay wiped the floor with me, but it's done until Thursday when I polish it. I've decided I need to make a to-do list so I can see what I need to do and how much.
