"Amateurs hope; professionals work." Garson Kanin (found on Catie's blog)

I'm dissatisfied because I'm behind. I only got 8 pages on day one, and I need eleven each day; I've been doing ten. So tomorrow I plan to make them up. Why not today? Because this is my schedule:

630-720AM - housework, prep for Bible study
8AM - meeting with Merrilee/Bible ( Read more... )

Along those lines, I'm also especially fond of:

"If people knew how hard I have to work to gain my mastery, it wouldn't seem wonderful at all." --Michelangelo

"Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work."--Thomas A. Edison

and

"We all have dreams. But in order to makes dreams come into reality, it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-disciple, and effort."--Jesse Owens

Great quote! Don't stress about 1 or 2 pages lacking here and there. Even if you don't hit the grand total you hoped for, when have you ever written SO MUCH in such a SHORT time? You're doing great!

You can do it! Don't stress yourself out about working ahead, and even if you miss a page today, it's ok because you're already scheduled a 'make-up' time. You'll run yourself into the ground, and then how will meet your quota if you can't write at all? Hmmm, missy?

Oh, and I love pickles. They're like the perfect vegetable. Only the dill kind, though. I get them with every lunch, regardless of what type of sandwich I get. I can't help it. :P
