He woke up in daze with a rotten feeling, only to remember the last thing he did was crying. Crying in front of who? A certain puppy that lives in this house. He can’t believe he cried in front of someone who he knows barely three days. How would Jonghyun think about him? He shook his head not wanting to think about it anymore.
He would forget, wouldn’t he? Forget about what happened last night.
He really hoped so. He walked out to see Jonghyun walking out of the room. The awkward silence between them tells Kibum that Jonghyun remembered yesterday night.
“Erm… Are you feeling better?” Jonghyun awkwardly asked and ruffled his on hair, afraid to look into his eyes.
“Yeah, thank you.” Key coughed once and walked away quickly.

Key was all alone during lunchtime again but this time round with a lunch box on his table. This time round, it wasn’t oily. It appeared right after he came back from the washroom. There was a note on top of it.

He couldn’t help to smile a little at Jonghyun’s action. Of course he would eat it, it was something that came from someone’s heart. Normally he would reject an offer but this time round, he didn’t. He tried to isolate himself from others, but just not Jonghyun…
Wait. Am I accepting him?
He paused with that thought in his mind. He shook his head in denial. Not wanting to believe that he could easily accept someone he knows less than a week.
No, it just I didn’t want to waste the food, that’s all.

“Argh, Minho I’m so vexed!” Jonghyun screamed but not really a loud one. Minho only smiled at his childish hyung.
“Lost your puppy again? Don’t worry, I’m sure you will find it.” Minho ruffled his head as if he was a kid.
“No, I didn’t lose my puppy. For your information, it’s has a name and its name is Roo.” Jonghyun pouted and sighed in frustration. Having his dongsaeng thinking that he was worrying over little things again made him kind of mad.
“It’s my roommate.” From the look of it, either he’s having problem with his roommate or his roommate have problem with him. Well, for Minho, he would choose to believe the problems lies with Jonghyun.
“You know, you can move back anytime you want.” Minho kindly offered. Before Jonghyun moved in with Key, he had always been with Minho. They have been roommates for a long time that’s why whenever Jonghyun has problem; he would turn to Minho for suggestion.
“And then caught you two in act again. No way man! You don’t know what you had done to my virgin eyes. I don’t to witness any of your lovely time with Taeminnie.” Minho turned a little red, it was careless of him last time to do it in the living room thinking that Jonghyun would be gone for the whole night since he was partying at Amber’s house. Amber being his best look-a-like buddy would sure make him stay for the night.
He was wrong to assume as the moment they were half way through their intimate act, Jonghyun had reach home.
“It’s not like you didn’t see porn before. I bet you see this way often than me.” Jonghyun was left spluttering.
“Wh-wha-what?! Of course n-no-not.” Minho smirked in victory. Jonghyun turned beef red, Jonghyun was never good with lying.
“Anyway, do you know anything about Kibum?” he quickly changed the topic back.
“Are you interested in him? ”
“What?! Ye-I mean, No.” Jonghyun almost said yes. Minho only looked at him with suspicious eyes.
“Last night… I don’t know why.” Jonghyun hesitant got Minho guessing what happened last night that got Jonghyun so troubled.
“You hit on him?” Minho looked shocked.
“What? No! Minho, I’m trying to be serious here!” Jonghyun scowled.
“Sorry hyung. Do continue.”
“It was raining and there was thunder last night. Originally he was getting a cup of water but suddenly there was lighting and thunder. He dropped his cup and froze there.” Minho nodded as he continue listen attentively to Jonghyun for being serious the first time.
“I just want to calm him down. He then… He then cried when I hugged him and then fell asleep after that. Minho, why do you think he cried?” Minho gave a little thought about it, since his Hyung was being serious, he won’t give an immature reply.
“Perhaps his past? You know, something bad that happened during thunderstorm and somehow last night reminds him that.” It then dawn on Jonghyun. Minho was good in his thinking.
“Do you know something about his past? Since most of the time I know his things from you.” Minho shook his head.
“Sorry, I’m not sure about his past maybe you can ask Kibum himself?”
“Right. It can be possible but too bad I only know Kibum for a few days. It would be awkward if I ask him, right?” Minho agreed. Who would go around telling someone they barely know their painful past? Doesn’t it seem stupid?
“How about Jinki hyung? He’s the one who brought Kibum in the company and he knows Kibum longer than anyone else in the company. He would be able to give you the answer you want.”
“Right, I should find Jinki hyung.”

Jonghyun looked over to Key’s table, it was already after work but Key was busying working. After these few days of working together, he found Key rather hardworking but was the aimlessly hardworking. He heard that the manager once promote him but he decline with a reason he was happy with his post and rank now.
Jonghyun sat on his chair and stared at Key’s serious face. He doesn’t know why but he thinks that Key look cute like that. It’s weird to say someone cute when he’s working so hard. It should be handsome or cool. Jonghyun laughed at himself.
Key managed to take a glimpse of dino boy smiling at himself. He wondered what’s going on in Jonghyun’s mind right now. Perhaps a cartoon he remembered or something funny. It was their third night living together being roommates. Maybe time would make then know each other more, than they can be best buddy.
“Are you going home?” Key shook his head, still staring at the computer screen.
“You don’t have to wait for me. I’ll go home once I finish this.” Jonghyun sighed. He didn’t move away from his seat, he just sat there staring at Key. Somehow there was a special attraction from Key that glued his eyes on him. Due to the fact that Jonghyun was too quiet, Key didn’t notice Jonghyun presence and thought he left. It was rather hard for Jonghyun not to make any noise.
“Key-ah, why are you always so busy?” It took Key by surprised as he thought Jonghyun left.
“Didn’t I tell you to go home first?” Jonghyun pouted.
“You haven’t answered me, Key.” Key sighed and stopped typing on the keyboard.
“That’s my own business. Why didn’t you go home?” It was obvious to Jonghyun that he was trying to muddle through the question.
“That’s my own business too.” Jonghyun let Key have a taste of his own medicine by replying the same way he did.
“I didn’t know you are so ‘creative’.” Kibum said sarcastically but Jonghyun didn’t lose by replying cheekily.
“Thanks.” Therefore once again leaving pregnant silence between them. Without waiting for too long, Jonghyun got bored again. This time round he leaned his head on the arms which was on the table.
“Key, why do you keep rejecting others?” The sound produce as Key typed on the keyboard seemed louder than usual. Jonghyun started toying with the pen that was lying on the table.
“What you mean?” Jonghyun sentence could be interpreted in both ways. It can either be rejecting others kindness or rejecting people offer. Key didn’t want to take a chance in guessing what he meant.
“Well, there’s a lot of department want to poach you over but you rejected all of them. They even offer you high pay which was like double of your current pay. If you say you don’t want to overwork yourself. It’s a lie. You are always helping other department work.” Key was surprised at Jonghyun’s knowledge. How can someone who barely worked for a week know so much? During this week, there wasn’t any department asking for him to transfer over.
“How do you know about it?” Key stopped his action and look at Jonghyun. Of course it was his best friend, alien frog told him that. Told him all about his roommate, how popular his roommate was to others base on working ability.
“I have my ways. Come on, tell me Key since I know so much.” Key pursed his lips.
“I just don’t want to change.” That was what Key said, which seem kind of true. Some people do hate changes, Key may be just one of the people that hated changes.
“I bet is because the higher you climb the more you have to go out and socialize with people.” For once, Jonghyun wasn’t so stupid in his guess and Key agreed that Jonghyun had become smarter.
“Well, you are no that stupid after all, Dino boy.” Key then realized he just said the nickname he gave Jonghyun out loud. He quickly covered his mouth.
“Are you calling me dino?” Jonghyun already stood up and walked over to Key. Key really thought Jonghyun was going kill him for giving him such weird nicknames. Jonghyun leaned over a little too close which made Key sat back.
“I kind of like how you call me dino boy.” Jonghyun smirked before standing straight again and walking back to his seat. Key could feel his heart beating faster than usual.
Why do I feel so nervous when he lean close?
His thoughts were disturbed by the grumbling sound made by Jonghyun’s empty stomache. Of course, Key won’t be so heartless to stave someone.
“Alright, I’m done.” He saved his files and shut down the computer.

“If you don’t work as office boy, I’m sure you will do equally well in F&N business. There will be so many restaurant want to hire you after tasting your dishes.” Jonghyun said with a mouthful. Even though sometime his word was muffled due to the fact the spaghetti was still in his mouth but Key understand what he said. Key only grinned.
“Eat your food.” Jonghyun nodded happy. Key couldn’t help to look at Jonghyun as a kid sometimes. His action and the way he talks really make him like a kid. Being a kid, Jonghyun has the sauce all over his face. Key took a tissue.
“Stop moving.” He commanded. Jonghyun didn’t move and Key wiped away the sauce all over his lips and areas around it. Key being meticulously, it was all seen in Jonghyun eyes.
If I have a lover like him, that would be great.
But the fact that Key was a guy, he couldn’t love him. How he wished Key was a girl, so he could really love him and form a happy family with him. Too bad, it’s a fact he can’t change.
“Key-ah. Do you have any siblings?” Jonghyun suddenly asked which caught Key in surprised.
“No, I’m the only son.” Key saw Jonghyun sighed and looked a bit down.
What was he trying to do?
“How I wish you are a girl.”Jonghyun muttered softly but Key heard it clearly.
“What, you have a problem with my gender now?” Key frowned.
“No, it not like that Key. It just… It just… Aishi.” Jonghyun had already finished his food and left the dining table to the living room to watch his drama. Some words are not meant to be spoken.

He was having coughing fit like usual in the night. He could still hear the television in the living room switch on. This time was a little different. He saw a cup of watch standing beside the night lamp.
Did Jonghyun put this?
It was still warm, it means the glass of water wasn’t left in open for quite long. He took a sip of it and went back to sleep. Since Jonghyun took an effort in pouring him a glass of water, he took an effort in ignoring the noise.
