So Tripp has been making worrisome noises, and the brakes were starting to slip a bit, so we got him into the shop yesterday to check on things. As expected, the brakes needed work. So showers around Frogholm have been somewhere between tepid and lukewarm for way too long. I'd assumed that either the neighbors were using up all the hot water or that the water heater was failing again (It's happened at least once or twice in the 10 years I've lived here). This morning I got up and swapped out the plant stand in the sewing room. I vacuumed, pulled the new plant stand in there, and arranged the plants on it. I am intensely grateful to malterre for posting the link to UnF*** Your Habitat back in Early May, right before my father came to visit. It probably saved my sanity for that particular parental visit. Time for a sternly worded note to the smokers upstairs about fire safety. Grrrr.
