It's bad enough that I have to put up with the construction noise at work, but now I think that one of my neighbors has taken up a noisy hobby. Like blacksmithing or leather tooling

Since I suffered hearing loss, many noises just annoy the ever loving heck out of me because the noises that masked them are no longer in my hearing range.

I can't stand dead silence, but at the same time, I can't stand repetitive noise, the washer, the dryer, the dishwasher, dripping water, people chewing, nervous/adhd tip-tapping-ticking people.

I have resorted to making sure there is enough soothing music on my iPhone and on my youtube playlists so that I can turn something to mask/drown out those sounds that annoy me.

The sound of wet mouths talking kills me. Try listening to Marjorie Eagan for an example. You can hear the spit slopping around in her yaw. It makes me sick.
