Dreamwidth was founded by ex-LJ staff members and the Dreamwidth code is a fork of the LiveJournal open source code (which just means that the software that runs Dreamwidth is based on LiveJournal’s code base). We had a late spring storm this weekend that started on Friday and finished on Saturday. They were predicted anywhere from 12 - 18 inches (11 - 12 on Friday and 5-6 on Saturday).
