I just came back from a training session on how to use the DC-wide Intranet e-mail system.

That's four hours of my life and roughly $4 of Metro fare I'll never have back.

This article about Gypsy clans feuding is hilariously funny, yet oddly sad when you consider it in the context of the erosion of a way of life that's existed for centuries.

Yesterday before game I caught "Hitman", and found it a mildly entertaining tour de force of bullets, blood, babes, and boobies. ( Read On )

Every time I think Six Apart couldn't possibly surprise me with another boneheaded move to alienate their user base, they go and raise the bar some more.

One of the odd things about my new job I noticed right away was that our offices and cubes didn't have wastebaskets. When I asked about it, my co-workers told me a hilarious story of how the city government, in an effort to reduce waste, presented everyone with these tiny little black buckets that we were expected to use for our garbage and dump ( Read more... )
