Heroes: "Truth & Consequences"

* I'm having a difficult time deciding what's creepier...Sylar as the sweaty shirtless sex god, Sylar and Maya making out while Alejandro lies dead not five feet away, or Sylar "babysitting" Molly while Maya grins like an idiot. Honestly, this whole plotline has pretty much been unsalvageable from jump, and if the net result is Sylar getting his powers back and wreaking havoc, then I can just BARELY say that it's worth it. I feel terrible for Dania Ramirez--she's a capable actress, but she's been saddled with some of the WORST dialogue this side of "One Life To Live." How can anyone possibly be so dense? I don't care how nice her rack is, you can only stare at it for so long before you realize that there's nothing going on up above. :)

* The actors playing young Kaito and young Victoria look nothing like George Takei or Joanna Cassidy. Perhaps the Company has a shapeshifter on staff that molds people's faces. :) Joanna Cassidy kicked ass in her all-too-brief stay...I wonder what her power was. Maybe she, like Kaito, didn't have one.

* It was great to see all the plotlines coming together so quickly, though I question how Hiro and Ando managed to find exactly the right documents they needed to verify the location of Strain 138. (You'd think Adam or Kaito would've been smart enough to not leave a paper trail all these years.)

* Pretty much any episode that doesn't have Matt "The Mind Bully" Parkman is doomed to failure.

* Is there a correlation between Mohinder's dumb decisions and his level of sanctimony? Hard to say, given that he actually made some smart choices this ep, like saving Bennet and challenging Bob to destroy the virus. Given his track record, I'm not optimistic about the outcomes, but it IS a nice change. And that bandage is just silly.

* It'd be a nice little twist of the knife if Peter somehow got back to the future and found Caitlin was already dead.

* Much like last season, the Micah/Niki plotline is only tangentially related to the larger goings on. While it was great to see Micah kicking ass (literally) and Monica better learning how to use her power, I'm disappointed that she got clowned by those hoodlums so readily. I guess we're expecting her to act like a superhero, but wouldn't you have frozen up if you had a bunch of guns pointed at you?

* Wow, Bob was engaging in some serious psychological warfare with Elle there. I sense a switch of loyalties on the horizon soon...

* I was hoping that there could be some shades of grey maintained in Adam's crusade, but alas, his desire to release the virus tips him firmly on the side of the black hats. Of course, it's Sark, so I expect no less. And I love the line about "there's no coming back from" decapitation. Nice little "Highlander" nod there. I wonder if Hiro will be going all MacLeod on Kensei before the season is out.

* I thought Claire's whole dialogue and pace were somewhat off this episode, which is odd, because Hayden usually does a great job, but she brought it home with the showdown with Elle. I think this actually portends what's going to happen in the next season, as we're going to see the revelation of the heroes to the world. That ought to turn the whole series on its ear.

* Peter seems to be outpacing Mohinder for sheer naivete. Surely having a mother as coldly ruthless as Angela Petrelli taught you not to be so trustworthy, eh, silly boy? At least it was nice to see Peter remember how large his power arsenal is. I can't wait for the Peter vs. Hiro fight. Let's hope they don't choke like they did in the Season 1 finale.

* One episode left, and the series has definitely kicked it into high gear. Better late than never, I say. On to the Petrelli family reunion!
