I was going to bed and just looking at the YouTube, then happened to find this.  I've read Sandy's comment before, but I didn't know it was from the MTV Awards.  Too bad Keanu wasn't there.   Damn, I miss them!

I've never been so keen on Keanu Reeves' upcoming moive "The Day The Earth Stood Still" because I'm not a big fan of Sci-fi movies and I wasn't really impressed with the 1951's original version.  But the one thing intrigued me about the original version was how they made the Earth stand still.  I'm curious how they change it in the new version.   I ( Read more... )

I saw Get Smart at a preview screening yesterday and I loved it!  It's just sooo funny and this is definitely a feel-good movie.  I had never seen any of Steve Carrell's movies, but this made me feel like seeing them.  I doubt it'll be a big hit in Japan though.  Comedies are usually difficult and none of the cast is very popular here.  If I say, " ( Read more... )

Nobody Knows is a Japanese movie produced in 2003 and the leading actor (Yuya Yagira; 14-years old at that time) won the best actor at the Cannes Film Festival.  This trailer doesn't really show the essence of this movie btw.   I wanted to see this movie for a long time and finally I did.  It's about four children abandoned by their mother in Tokyo ( Read more... )
