I saw Get Smart at a preview screening yesterday and I loved it!  It's just sooo funny and this is definitely a feel-good movie.  I had never seen any of Steve Carrell's movies, but this made me feel like seeing them.  I doubt it'll be a big hit in Japan though.  Comedies are usually difficult and none of the cast is very popular here.  If I say, "

Most of Steve Carell's movies are comedy as he is being known as a comedian he is good, I guess. I saw some of his minor appearances before & the first major role I saw was 'The 40 Year Old Virgin'.
Speaking of Anne Hathaway, I guess she was started to get known here in 'The Princess Diaries' seguels. I like this young actress too. There are still some movies of her that I'd like to see, say 'Becoming Jane'which she plays a young Jane Austin.
Well, same as usual, I have to wait for the DVDs to come out, *shrugs *

I hear Anne in The Princess Diaries was cute. I think she was good in Brokeback Mountains. I have a couple of Steve Carell's movies recorded from TV, but haven't been able to watch them.

It's not even 11:00 a.m. and I'm already sleepy!

Well, it doesn't actually matter whether I stay up late working or not, I just get sleepy! I used to take a nap a lot at work when I was working at a company. I'll wait till 2 p.m. that's when I usually take a nap.

I really enjoyed it as well! I didn't have very high expectations, I guess - I thought it was just another typical Hollywood comedy, but it made me laugh several times! You should see Steve in Little Miss Sunshine, which is one of my favourite movies.

I didn't have high expectations, either. Audience (mainly cynical movie critics and journalists because it was a preview) laughed several times including myself, which doesn't happen very often in Japan!

I recorded Little Miss Sunshine but haven't watched it yet. I really want to!

Get Smart looks okay over all, though Steve Carell seems to be veering more and more toward not so funny slapstick humor
