Click to viewI saw Get Smart at a preview screening yesterday and I loved it! It's just sooo funny and this is definitely a feel-good movie. I had never seen any of Steve Carrell's movies, but this made me feel like seeing them. I doubt it'll be a big hit in Japan though. Comedies are usually difficult and none of the cast is very popular here. If I say, "The leading actor is Steve Carell", then 9.5 out of 10 people would say, "Steve who?" And probably 8 out of 10 for Anne Hathaway because some people may recognize her face from "The Devil Wears Prada" even though they don't know her name.
Anyway, it'll open in early October in Japan.
