Nobody Knows is a Japanese movie produced in 2003 and the leading actor (Yuya Yagira; 14-years old at that time) won the best actor at the Cannes Film Festival.  This trailer doesn't really show the essence of this movie btw.   I wanted to see this movie for a long time and finally I did.  It's about four children abandoned by their mother in Tokyo ( Read more... )

Hello again Bel!! How are you btw :) Hope all is well.

Oh gosh I truely agree with you there. I saw this movie maybe 3 years ago (downloaded the movie hehe). I heard a lot about it and I was curious as to what it was about so I watched it. This movie is very sad and I've actually asked friends and family members to watch it... my mom didn't since she said she doesn't want to cry. Now I don't know where my dvd movie went since my sister let her friend borrow it.

Yeah it's hard grasp the fact that this was based on a true story... soo sad.

Hey Cheryll, good to hear from you! I'm good although the weather sucks. Are you off on vacation soon?

I checked on the fact of this story and it was really really bad. Unbelievably bad and made me angry. Compared to what actually happened, the movie is like a fantasy.

Hiya Bel.. sorry for some reason its' not letting me type my password and now my Ip address is blocked haha. OOOOOHKAY...

That's good to hear you're doing great.. aside from the weather. Here it's nice too. I'll be leaving for the Philippines maybe around Aug 1 or 2 next month so I'm excited. I haven't bought my ticket yet though.

It was really hard for me to watch the kids and how their mom could just leave them behind like that. It's soo sad because we all know that this is reality in some cases.

Oh that sucks. Can you create a new account?

There are so many immature/selfish/stupid parents out there and they shouldn't have kids.

I hope you'll have a great time in Philippines. I won't be able to have vacation, so I'm excited for you instead!

That looks like a beautiful, though heartbreaking, film! I would definitely need some romantic comedy after seeing that one! It's terrible what can happen to kids, though. I don't know how people can bear to live with themselves after mistreating children. And you're right, people are so distant these days, it's sad. :(

I had to see Two Weeks Notice bloopers right after seeing this movie to cheer myself up!

I remember Cheryl telling me about this movie. I am avoiding to watch such kind of movies because it'll take time for me to forget the sadness.
It's really sad to think that there are lots of rich people who just wasting their money for nonsense & self-satisfactory which doesn't even think to help people who needs help.
If I'm rich, I will not neglect to donate for help. Just
feeling sorry that I'm not,*sigh*.
Why it is that there are so many unfair things in this world. Oopps! I'm feeling gloomy so gotta do something to cheer me up.

I think rich or not-so-rich, there are something we can do, and I'm not very proud of myself about that because I've never done any kind of volunteering things. I donate a small amount of money once in a while, but that's it.

Sorry to make you feel gloomy! The weather is gloomy enough, and I watched Miss Congeniality last night to cheer me up!

Yeah, we can do something even we are not rich.
It's just that I get upset when I saw or read something about those nonsense 'rich' people doing nonsense things, you know.
Well, donating is a good thing & it doesn't matter with the amount. I do it sometimes too.

Oh, sorry back Bel. I just said it but actually, I'm feeling good today.
Hope you too !
